Just one week left

The plan is to leave Calgary next Friday, which I abruptly realized this morning means we have exactly one week left here. I feel like I've been spending so much time and mental energy preparing for what will happen when we arrive in Midland that I've neglected the important task of saying good-bye to Calgary. There are friends yet to see and hug, places left unvisited and (argueably most important) restaurants left untasted.

One week just doesn't seem like enough time.

However, as many of you may be pointing out to yourselves while reading this, I've known we were leaving for quite a few weeks. Yes, yes, I know. But still.

There's just so much to say goodbye to.
